Bridgette Adatsi

Bridgette is an  Account Manager at Serengeti’s currency brokerage department.  

She is responsible for brokering interbank trades, conducting financial analysis and preparing daily trading reports. Prior to joining Serengeti, Bridgette worked with Consolidated Bank in the Bancassurance division and Awoshe Company in the marketing department.

Bridgette holds a BSc. Business Administration from Ashesi University and a Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst Certificate from the Corporate Finance Institute.

Dionne Addofoly

Dionne Addofoly

Dionne serves as the Head of Serengeti’s currency brokerage department.

She is primarily responsible for the smooth operation of the currency brokerage department and ensuring seamless currency trades with banks and interbank brokers. She is also responsible for building and maintaining client relationships with clients .

Dionne holds an LLM in Financial Markets and Regulations, an LLB in Law and an HND in Public Relations, Journalism & Now Media.

Jennifer Adjei

Jennifer serves as the Compliance Officer for Serengeti Capital Markets.

She is responsible for enforcing a culture of compliance within the entire organization and ensuring that appropriate resources are available to support compliance requirements to protect the Firm and its customers.

Jennifer holds a BA in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Richmond Agbesi

Richmond Agbesi

Richmond Agbesi is Head of Finance and Administration for Serengeti. He is based in Accra, Ghana.

Since joining the firm in 2008, Richmond has been responsible for developing and managing compliance and reporting functions. His ongoing responsibilities include tax planning, financial reporting, managing the firm’s IT platform, and assisting in various aspects of due diligence. Prior to joining Serengeti, Richmond was an Audit Manager with Andah & Andah Chartered Accountants, a well-known Ghanaian firm of Chartered Certified Accountants. At Andah & Andah he led and participated in teams that undertook various assignments in leading Ghanaian companies including, Western Telesystems (now Airtel), Labadi Beach Hotel, Super Paper Products Company Ltd., Centre Properties Limited, Computer Frontiers International (Gh) Limited and Tri-Star Insurance Services.

Richmond obtained a BSc from the University of Ghana, Legon, is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK, and holds a Securities Industry Certificate from the Ghana Stock Exchange.

Amanda is Head Broker at Serengeti Capital Markets.

Amanda joined the team in November 2023 and is responsible for executing securities trades. Before joining Serengeti Capital, Amanda worked in the Trading and Business Development Department of Republic Securities.

Amanda holds a BA in Economics with Statistics from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Ghana Investment and Securities Institute Certificate in Securities Trading.

Iris Asaase

Iris is a Senior Associate at Serengeti Capital Partners.

She has over 10 years of financial advisory and investment experience in sub-Saharan Africa. She is responsible for managing aspects of the principal investment portfolio of Serengeti. She is also responsible for drafting and appraising information memorandums for companies, business plans, and financial models for clients and prospective clients.

Iris holds an MSc. in Investment Management from Coventry University and a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Ghana, Legon.

Francis Kalitsi

Francis Kalitsi

Francis has over 30 years of investment and economic development experience in emerging markets across Africa, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Asia. He has led the execution of principal investment opportunities across West Africa and negotiated detailed transaction terms in several industries with a focus on financial services .

He began his career with Merrill Lynch and later joined Marriott International’s Development Finance Group in Bethesda, MD, where he helped craft and execute the corporation’s growth strategy, which included introducing new lodging brands, multiple acquisitions of international hotel companies, and divestitures.

He is the co-founder and chairman of the Board of Directors at Kete Krachi Timber Recovery and Chairman of the Board of Bank of Africa Ghana.

Francis holds an MBA in Strategic Management and Finance from Chicago Booth Business School, USA, and a BSc. Admin in Financial Management from Boston University, USA.

Kofi Labi

Kofi Labi

Kofi is an Investment Analyst at Serengeti Capital. Kofi joined the team in May 2018.

Kofi’s primary responsibilities at Serengeti include industry research, quantitative analysis, and investment memoranda preparations. Kofi also heads the Sales and Logistics team for one of Serengeti’s principal investments; Kete Krachi Timber Recovery Ltd. and Clark Sustainable Resource Developments Ltd.

Prior to joining Serengeti Capital, Kofi spent two years in the Asset Management department of a private equity investment firm, Anchor Loans, in Calabasas, California.

Kofi holds a BA in Physics from Whittier College, California.

Karen Ofori

Karen is an Investment Analyst at Serengeti Capital Partners.

She joined the team in July 2021 and is responsible for supporting the Investment Advisory team with the analysis of financial and economic data across various industries to support investment decisions. She is also responsible for preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders. She is also responsible for managing client relationships and addressing their inquiries and concerns. Before joining Serengeti, Karen worked as a research intern with Fidelity Bank and as an Administrative Assistant at Crystal Capital and Investments Ltd.

Karen holds a BSc. Business Administration from Ashesi University, Ghana.

Elkin Pianim

Elkin Pianim

Elkin Pianim, Managing Partner

Elkin has over 30 years of investment experience in and across Africa, including the Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Guinea-Bissau, Nigeria, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. He has a track record of entrepreneurship roles on three continents (Africa, the USA, and the UK) and has raised and structured capital as an advisor and as an entrepreneur in all three regions.

He serves as Executive Chairman on the Boards of African Champion Industries and a director of Kete Krachi Timber Recovery. He was the Co-founder of Zimbabwe’s largest private residential real estate development and Co-principal in the highly leveraged US$40M acquisition of 2 television stations.

He began his career as an Investment Banker at Rothschild, Inc., in New York and later joined Fox Television Stations, where he was responsible for financial reporting and acquisitions.

Elkin holds an MBA from London Business School, UK, and a BA in Economics from Vassar College, USA.

Franklin Tay is Lead Account Manager at Serengeti’s currency brokerage department.

Franklin is responsible for monitoring market conditions and executing trades. Before joining Serengeti, Franklin worked with First Atlantic Bank in different capacities, in Treasury Sales and as Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking.

Franklin holds a BSc. in Mathematics from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.

William Tettey is the Chief Accountant at Serengeti Asset Management. William joined the team in March 2015.

William’s primary responsibilities at Serengeti include performing accounting and administrative tasks. Before joining Serengeti, William spent 9 years with Top Industries Limited as a Senior Accountant in Accra, Tema, and Kumasi.

William is a member of the Association of Certified Tax Accountants, UK and the Chartered Institute of Certified Tax Accountants, Ghana.
